Those who were wondering what happened to Dame Slap in relation to the Lehrmann matter must still keep on wondering.
In a bid to settle worries, remove concerns, the pond plunged into the darkness and took a look through the new story at the top of the digital edition, revelling in the price of steaks, a round of golf, drugs, though strangely no hookers in the splash ...
Not a single mention of Dame Slap or of the Lehrmann leaks she peddled for months ... and sadly the only mention in the affidavit attached to the story came in another lizard Oz story, where a recent effort featured as a splash at the bottom of the page
The pond also diligently searched through the transcript of the lizard Oz's quaintly named news podcast, The Front, which can either stand for bald-faced effrontery or a movie about the blacklist ...
Not a single word from the great explainer of the Lehrmann matter, yet only a few days ago she was still the reptiles' great explainer, revelling in the cleverness of her explanations ...
It goes without saying that the pond didn't go down that rabbit hole with Dame Slap and won't go down it today, not even to gloat.
At the same time, her piece about DEI - this day's trolling - had completely disappeared from the front of the digital edition, as of noon ...
You didn't just have to head below the fold, you had to head into the fold and scroll down to find the great explainer trolling away ...
And now back to the earlier post, with the pond and those wondering left still wondering ... and waiting ...
That's funny, I always thought it was "The mills of the gods grind slowly..." Dunno about this "wheels of justice" stuff, that must be a woke reinterpretation.
