To the pond's undying shame, it rarely pays attention to the reptile editorial missives that turn up regularly next to a patriotic portrait of the heart of the nation, yet there came this day a trilogy up there with the immortal Bourne (yes the pond takes the view that one is non-canonical and the latest is certainly apocrypha, pace The New Yorker).
Now the reptiles are getting agitated and restless on the matter of gay marriage, and not just the Oz but the Terrorists too:
Are we there yet?
But hang on, hang on ...
Ignorant and irresponsible? The debate is only just starting?
What's this, the noble Ned preparing the way to label the reptile editorialist and the Terrorists as ignorant and irresponsible?
What's this, the noble Ned preparing the way to label the reptile editorialist and the Terrorists as ignorant and irresponsible?
Well you can google the rest of Ned's hand-wringing alarmism, because the pond merely reports on the befuddled reptiles and others decide ...
Indeed, indeed, a calm, clear path forward is what is needed, with agreement all round and no distractions, and haven't the Neds of the reptile world helped clear a path ...
Never mind, we must move on to the next part of the trifecta ...
Indeed, indeed ...
Or even systemically ...
But at least it gives the reptiles a chance once more, for the nth time, until the twelfth of never, to deplore the Graudian and the cardigan wearers ...

The pond was astonished by the generous offer by the Oz editorialist to spend a year on Nauru amongst the guano to provide convincing evidence it was a paradise ... and certainly not a hellhole ...
This is the sort of advanced journalism for which the reptiles and the dog botherer are famous (will anyone surpass the dog botherer's "My year locked up in paradise amongst the sweet-smelling guano"?)

And finally, there came another somber moment for the reptiles ...
The pond must note this as an indication of how weird the world has become in a post-Trumpian landscape.
The reptiles are speaking up for Obama ...
The reptiles are speaking up for Obama ...
Ah, thank the long absent lord, if only the pond had realised that the Trumpster is all the fault of specious trade unions.
Got nothing to do with Ailes, Fox, Hannity, the chairman, Bill Orally, the GOP or the rest of the baying mob ...

Once again, it's clear enough, and the golden rule applies.
If there's anything wrong with the world, look for the guilty leftist, and if one's not around dig up a unionist, and if they're absent, remember there's always the Graudian and the cardigan wearers at the ABC who helped ruin the world by supporting Obama and refused to report on his birth certificate fraud, damned Kenyan Islamic that he is ... he'd be the last person to support the American capitalist system with a TPP ...
Talk about mixed messages and a thoroughly confused pond. Is there a hot rock in the house?

And so, for anyone who made it through that trilogy of horse troughs, here's a Pope about that gay marriage thingie, and a Rowe, and more Rowe here ...
Speaking of possibly (obviously) gay popes in the case of Ratzinger and other "catholic" ponces why not google The Secret Lives of the Vatican's Gay Cardinals & Monks. So much for the "moral authority" of the "catholic" church.
ReplyDeleteI have nothing against ponces by the way.
And if anyone is quite rightly suspicious of the TPP, then they should be even more horrified re the all-encompassing consequences of the (as yet) little known Trade In Services Agreement lurking in the shadows of the TPP.
