More here, after all, it's still the afterglow of Easter, and the nutters, sultanas and fruitcakes deserve their moment in the sun ...
Speaking of fruitcakes, the pond was determined not to pay attention to the determined trolling of Adam Creighton, one of the more light-weight reptiles, but determined to carve himself out a place as one of the preeminent kool-aid drinkers ...
As the pond noted earlier, it's now standing by for a whole flood of Creighton pieces ...
Why I would have voted for Nigel Farage, why I intend voting for Pauline Hanson and her party at the next election, why I voted for Geert Wilders, why I voted in favour of Erdogan assuming a fascist-like caliphate control of Turkey, why I wished Steve Bannon would come down under so I could vote for him, why I'm moving to the north shore so I can vote for the onion muncher, why I'm voting for David Leyonhjelm, why I'm voting for Malcolm Roberts and climate science, why I'm voting for Erica, and eventually, after dozens and dozens of pieces, why I think everybody should give a flying fuck why I'm voting at all ...
Of course others have tried this routine ...
Sad. It didn't work out terribly well with the Donald in relation to self-serving elites, unless you regard it as the right of every man to spend a lot of time in Florida and on the golf course, while appointing Wall Street heavies to run the show, but you can't expect a bear with the limited attention span and brain of a Creighton to pay attention ... not when the standard sort of rhetoric to be found on 4Chan will serve as the basis for a piece of fluff for the reptiles ...
The funny thing is seeing Creighton mention Piketty and progressive policies, and Le Pen as some sort of solution, as if Le Pen hasn't already been caught looting and rorting European parliamentary funds, as noted in The Graudian here ...
340,000 Euros is a tidy sum, though it wouldn't necessarily keep the wolf from the door for very long at the taxpayer-grant-reliant Menzies Research Centre ...
Oh wait, the Caterists will be up tomorrow, bleating about elites and privilege.
For the moment, we must hastily wrap up the Creighton ...
Oh fuck, somebody who takes Houllebecq's novel as more than a work of fiction ...
Not especially gratifying? You think it's really going to happen?
And as for Charles Moore and The Spectator as the home of modern Marxist thinking? Who writes Creighton's material? Sure, he delivers the lines well, but somebody must be feeding them to him, and he or she should be working for Woody Allen, who long ago stopped making movies that were remotely funny ...
So this is why Creighton apparently swears by Ayn Rand's novels as a certain and sure guide to economic management ... apparently they're Marxist prophecies of the Islamics taking over France by 2022 ... hmm, only five years to go, better get stuck into that Caliphate quick stix ...
Never mind, this is just by way of a left-over Easter bon bon, flung out late on an Easter Monday so that the pond could note the way that Creighton had attracted the right Oz reptile demographic of nutters and sultanas ...
Dear sweet absent lord, they really do get some crazies over at the Oz ... blowing the battle horn, and likely at dire risk of a heart attack, senility or dementia, or all three, at any moment in the process ... did the goose understand that viva Richard of England involves a most un-English "viva" and that Richard the Lionheart might not even have spoken English?
If you follow that link, you see that in his whole reign he spent no more than six months north of the Channel ...ah well at least he knighted his cook, so the onion muncher would approve ...
There were many other comments of a weird kind, including one from Diane, who apparently didn't read all those references to Picketty, progressive policies and Donald Trump the Marxist marching shoulder to shoulder with Spectator Marxists ...and Adam Creighton, revolutionary populist, blathering away about the need to change it all, presumably because the likes of billionaires of the Chairman Rupert kind are getting away with murder!
It's impossible to write this sort of stuff, which is why the pond never tries ...
But at least this Adam is known from Adam and was mentioned in despatches ...
Well the pond is more than a little bit surprised.
Three bucks and Adam is supposed to be the reason to tickle the till, and kill off the red back spiders in the purse?
As for that other winner ...
Creighton: "Almost 10% of France's population of 65 million is Muslim ..." That is, he says about 6.5 million French persons are 'nominal' Muslims.
ReplyDeleteWikipedia: "The French polling company IFOP estimated in 2016 that French Muslims number between 3 and 4 millions, and criticised suggestions of a "grand remplacement". IFOP claims that they make up 5.6% of those older than 15, and 10% of those younger than 25."
Somebody should tell the French, if they don't want a lot of Muslim fellow-countrypersons, to stop imperialising Muslim nations. The French interior Ministry "estimates" that:
1,550,000 Algerians
1,000,000 Moroccans, and
350,000 Tunisians
Make up 2.9 million of the guesstimated 4.155 Muslims resident in France. Note 4.155 millions, not Creighton's 6.5 million. Lies, damned lies and statistics, eh.
Ah GB even as I was reading your comment there he was on their ABC doing The Drum. Strange that he didn't explain to the Islamic on the panel that the Islamics were fucking France and a new crusade was needed...
DeleteThe Cretin
ReplyDeleteI'll bet he got a lot of that at school.
