In which the pond unifies with the WSJ and the lizard Oz editorialist ...

Indeed, indeed, says the man who gave the world that plastic bubble and noise machine, Fox News, and a host of tree killing rags that did their best to emulate its fraudulent frothing and fallacious foaming ...

Well there's madness in the air, and it seems that the madness has crossed borders and leaped tall walls and even infests the Murdochians ...

Attention all hackers. It's open slather. Do what you will, the POTUS in waiting has given the okay ... and when you find anything at all, make sure you publish it. Have you thought about BuzzFeed?

And so to the risible reptiles whining and moaning about the world they helped create ... and what's the bet there won't be any mention of their role in it? Instead it'll all be the fault of the intertubes ...

Where to start, oh where to start with the irony?

Well yes, that'll do nicely. A WSJ fool blathering about conventional wisdom, and recycled by the Oz lizards because that's what they do these days for padding for their threadbare commentariat section ...

Okay, the pond will bite, with a tasty sample of conventional wisdom ...

Oh okay, best get on with it ...

Damaging Trump's reputation? Trump has a reputation to protect? We have to resort to ancient pinball machines for a metaphor when we could simply resort to Twitter?

Now the pond could have just as easily accessed one of the many compilations of the Donald's deep thinking on climate science, or his urging on of the Russians to hack Clinton's emails or any of dozens of other barking mad outings that the supine media swallowed whole, rather like a lazy tame python on a hot rock offered a tasty white rat ...

But let's get back to the WSJ bleating ...

Comey? Rather than Comey? Not a public player? Not a Mad Max pouring gasoline?

Tilt? The Murdochians are talking tilt? The creators of Fox News are talking tilt?

And then this?

That is the Grey Lady reducing US politics to the level of a video game app?

Sorry, that was done long, long ago ...

And so to another bit of Murdochian nonsense ... this time from the Oz editorialist ...

Must rise? Needs to reassure the world? Scurrilous attacks?

The Donald mustn't do anything, except possibly tweet ...

They did their bit for the Donald, and now they think they can issue him with orders?

Tell 'em they're dreaming ...

Look, act and sound presidential?

What are they putting in the Oz reptile water cooler these days? Stewed essence of addictive cane toad?

Now back for a last bit about being presidential, establishing trust, confidence and credibility, because the pond can never get enough horse laughs ...

Presidential?

Policy substance?

Here's your policy substance.

You're welcome, have a nice day, come on back sometime real soon, ya hear, and remember, it would be madness not to unify around this sort of policy substance ...

It's always astonishing to see the mindless mendacity of a relentless tweeter at one with his thumb, but it's not as if anyone or everyone inside or outside the Murdochian bubble can claim they weren't aware, that the evidence was being presented to them on a daily basis ...

Strange that it should take so long for the Murdochians to realise the fruits of their work might actually be a little weird ... or is it because the Donald is actually the product of their echo chamber?

Well at least David Rowe keeps up the cartooning, and more Rowe here ...
