In which the pond turns to the infallible bromancer for sage foreign affairs advice ...

In part two of the pond's foreign affairs this day, the pond decided to drop in on the bromancer to see how the love affair with the Donald was going … and what a relief, it was as strong and as passionate as ever ...

Yes, everything is for the best in the best of all possible worlds, and it's all to the credit of the Donald, and his friends …

It's all good and it's all part of an incredibly potent Donald approach to the world …

How fortunate the pond is to have the heretical bromancer to hand to answer that question ...

Yes, it might all be a miasma and a fog of uncertainty, doubt and fear, but what a triumph it is, and how pleasing that the pond relies on the bromancer for all its foreign affairs insights …

May the good weather keep on keeping on …

  1. So what is this ? Some 21st Century reinvention of The Great Game with America and China (replacing Britain and Russia) as the competing empires with North Korea as "the jewel in the crown" (in place of India).

Anyway, what does 'Cold War' mean these days ? Another go at ICBMs in Cuba ?

Do any of these numbskulls understand that it's the 21st Century already ? The Age of Drones and Robots ?

  2. The bromancer's lack of touch with reality has been observed elsewhere (although I doubt The Australian would even say 'We're sorry we totally misled you...")

    1. Yeah, I think we can all appreciate that Greggie has only a very tenuous connection with reality - less even than the usual run of reptile. Indeed, how could he work so long and so enthusiastically for Murdoch otherwise.

But the thing with the Skripal case is that there isn't exactly a big cast of candidates who could fit the "other than Russia, who could it be ?" query. Well, other than May's point about "if it isn't Russia, then the Russians have lost control of their chemical weapons".

In short, does anybody have any suggestions at all about "who else could it be ?"?
