The pond is in overload with all the reptile activities of late, and to avoid a melt down decided to do a potpourri of recent highlights ...
This splash in the lizard Oz today - how to liven up one of the most tedious spectacles on the planet? can baseball and cricket be livened up too? - reminded the pond of a recent Cory contribution ...
Who else but Cory could see warfare as a form of sport?
Of course if you happen to be carrying an enhanced EF88 Austeyr assault rifle, the playing field tends to level out ... but no doubt Cory is still in the thrall of 1950s war movies ...he's got a knife, he's got a knife ...fix bayonets men, they don't like it up 'em ... etc.
Ah, the good old complimentary woman argument beloved of Sydney Anglicans - damn you Perth Anglicans, damn you all to hell - though not to put to fine a point on it, the reptiles really shouldn't have taken the pond's joke line on 'complimentary' women.
Complementarianism is a serious business and that leads to complementary women ... as explained at The Conversation here ...
And now as this is a potpourri, a little warm praise for the ongoing Trumpification of the lizard Oz ... first it was the bromancer, and then the Gottlieber joined in the chanting ...
And bonus points have to go to Charlie Peel for this outing ...
An efficient operation? Keeping costs down? No faux jobs of the bullshit kind? No phalanx of cleaners hired to keep the landscape tidy?
Damn you capitalism, what we need is a dose of good old-fashioned socialism so that people of the Charlie Peel kind can be gainfully employed ...
And by a curious potpourri conjunction that brings the pond to the lizard Oz dealing with the recent bump in the market.
Strangely, there was little sign of Trump-driven optimism ...
Thank the long absent lord, the pond hasn't had a good debt scare for awhile ...
The pond always marvels how the reptiles can juggle assorted balls ... like the wonders of Trump and $1.5 trillion, and the dangers of debt...
But enough of cartoons, it's on with the grave warning ...
Indeed, indeed, what we need are ways to win bigly ...
And now back for another dose of that Trump-driven optimism ...as a precursor to explaining why there should be company tax cuts, and how everything will trickle down in due course, long after the pond has departed the planet...
Donald Trump is our hope? We must embrace Trump-driven optimism? Time for another cartoon ...
With respect, DP, Cory does include men in that reference to complementarianism.
