The pond is in overload with all the reptile activities of late, and to avoid a melt down decided to do a potpourri of recent highlights ...

This splash in the lizard Oz today - how to liven up one of the most tedious spectacles on the planet? can baseball and cricket be livened up too? - reminded the pond of a recent Cory contribution ...

Who else but Cory could see warfare as a form of sport?

Of course if you happen to be carrying an enhanced EF88 Austeyr assault rifle, the playing field tends to level out ... but no doubt Cory is still in the thrall of 1950s war movies ...he's got a knife, he's got a knife ...fix bayonets men, they don't like it up 'em ... etc.

Ah, the good old complimentary woman argument beloved of Sydney Anglicans - damn you Perth Anglicans, damn you all to hell - though not to put to fine a point on it, the reptiles really shouldn't have taken the pond's joke line on 'complimentary' women.

An efficient operation? Keeping costs down? No faux jobs of the bullshit kind? No phalanx of cleaners hired to keep the landscape tidy?

Damn you capitalism, what we need is a dose of good old-fashioned socialism so that people of the Charlie Peel kind can be gainfully employed ...

Thank the long absent lord, the pond hasn't had a good debt scare for awhile ...

The pond always marvels how the reptiles can juggle assorted balls ... like the wonders of Trump and $1.5 trillion, and the dangers of debt...
