Day 74 of MUC and day 27 of MUC, and the pond begins with a lot of nothing ...

Any sensible piece about nothing should begin with a few quotes about nothing ...

Ah, that's much better ... and so, it's on with the nothing ...

So it's official.

Nick X is posing a serious threat to the Liberal party, and so the Government Gazette must do its front page duty, and not just on the tree-killer edition ...the full to overflowing intertubes must also suffer ...

Of course the reptiles had a rotating splash on the front page with an alternative to the property scandal for those who wanted to get their fill of Bronnie ...

And look, there's also a rotating fashion display ...

Go separate ways? Revealed? The pond understood the 'go to' word for the day was excruciating ...

The pond nobly resisted getting excruciated by refusing to subscribe to Sky, but there were other marvellous sightings of the old mob this day ...

As for the man himself, the chief lunatic as it were ... will the folly ever pass?

Not expecting advancement?

Vows to be useful?

There's a lot more onions to munch and walls to punch?

And what of the lunatic who replaced the lunatic, to become the chief lunatic, as it were ...

Good on Malware, working hard to raise thousands so that a decent conservative might be returned ...

It was around this time that the pond realised that "nothing" might take on the taste of vomit in the mouth ...

And so to cleanse the palate it turned to the Daily Terrorists ...

Who'd have guessed a game of thugby league, intimately involved in the selling of gambling products to mug punters, and the flogging of alcohol to minors and anyone else watching, and used by the Terrorists to boost their flimsy business plan with specious tribalism, would have strayed off the one true path ...

Well there's more than enough nothing to kick start the day.

But it wouldn't be a proper piece about nothing if we didn't end with a couple of jokes about a nobody telling us about nothing ... and more Fairfax cartoons here ...

  1. Rowan Dean said this on Bolt on Mark Scott's appointment as head honcho at NSW Education..

"Don't bother educating your kids in public schools in NSW unless you want to turn up and the teacher will be Zaky Mallah lecturing kids on the advantages of belonging to ISIS."

    Loon extraordinaire.

  3. Cleverman - sad to see it wasn't a documentary on the collected columns of Chris Kenny.

    Defund the ABC now!
