The pond usually restricts itself to a few favoured reptiles - being deeply conservative, it rarely likes to stray too far afield - and rarely runs stories involving matters before the court, because any comment would become risky business.
But the story of the parrot in legal peril is too irresistible ...
There's no doubt it's a huge claim, as the Donald himself might say, but what of the Caterists?
Will there be a mention of one of the pond's favourite columnists?
Yes, there's the Caterist, and it's not just the size of the claim, it's the way that the court costs might add up to squillions …
Suddenly the Speccie mob settling for a measly 500k plus seems like a masterstroke, though in its usual way, Media Watch here was terribly unkind to the Caterists …
Oh dear, and now back to the mounting costs ...
Of course the reptiles could have just rung up their old buddy for comment, as he dropped off his Caterist copy, but perhaps that would have been unseemly.
It's remarkable how invisible that the Caterist has become in this matter, an attempt perhaps to disguise the way he acted more like a careening craterist ...
Oh dear … someone else besides the reptiles relied on the Caterist for an opinion …
Sadly the pond missed this event, but what a bundle of laughs it would have been …
Tabakoff: "...comments made by Jones on his radio shows in 2014 and 2015. One of the 32 broadcasts before the court relates ... Sky News which is not a defendant."
ReplyDeleteGoodness gracious, 32 broadcasts by Jones over two years ! Now that's either an incredible example of "butterfly mind with a bulldog grip" or Jones should be pleading not guilty by reason of insanity - ie massive obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
Lovely piccy of our Harry, but I'm not sure he'd exactly be laughing in his 110th year.
