ReplyDeleteIn what will be a loss to future historians, Rupert’s Texan bride, Jerry Hall, put a stop to his twitter habit. An event that must have left a lot of the Murdochian reptiles worldwide unsure what their Dear Leader required of them.
There were also rumours recently that Rupert’s initial enthusiasm for a Trump presidency was cooling, as both his new wife and sons, horrified by the toxic orange POTUS, were advising caution and distance.
Criticism of Trump had recently started to surface in News Corp reportage but evidently the chance of a massive tax break was just too tempting for Murdoch.
In an all out coordinated move, the Murdoch media have come out across the board to defend Trump. Obfuscation, misdirection and outright denial are all emanating from Murdoch’s media outlets worldwide. Whatabouterism is a key part of the strategy as Hillary is dragged out as the scape goat and onto who all the political sins can be cast.
Sheridan as a loyal little reptile is just following orders.
Although a few Republicans are complaining about the smell emanating from the White House, most are holding their noses and are hoping they can drive their massive tax cuts through as soon as possible.
I wonder if it has occurred to Trump and his evidently brilliant advisers that once he has fulfilled his purpose and Wall Street, the Corporations and the 1% all get their tax breaks, that Donald will be surplus to requirements.

Well said. It's quaint to watch the Murdoch sycophants try to second-guess their bosses and follow the eat-your-young style of journalism they feel is required to keep their jobs. Once upon a time, before the orange one's inauguration, Sheridan was letting the world know that US Republicans had inducted a madman, a loop who didn't have a snowball's chance in hell of being elected president, and that if Americans went bonkers and committed that crime, the nation itself was doomed. Another wonderful example of the contradictions from the Murdoch minions is the Devine's piece on the utter wickedness of Kevin Spacey, shortly after taking Pell's back during the wicked process of Georgie's victimisation.
