Choices, choices, always the choices ...
There was poor Henry "hole in the bucket" Ergas trying to hack his way through the labyrinthine thickets in the Amazonian jungle known as the Australian constitution - oh how arcane and befuddling, how cunning were these Daedalus founding fathers with their word trickery - but as Flinty had already sorted everything out by proposing that originalism means change, the pond turned towards safe harbour and the siren song of Sharri ...
The pond thought it might be poignant to juxtapose Sharri's thoughts with a few Terror comments below the Sharri piece, by readers inspired by her siren song ...
And where's the thanks he gets?
Yep it'll take more than a cheap rabbit out of the hat to impress the Terror and its readers ...
Uh huh ... speaking of the rabid base, speak on Sharri reader, sing a song of fear and loathing ...
A cancer! By golly that'll require more than a wave of the hand, that'll require some deep thinking ...
Oh forget the selfies, goody gumdrops, Sharri is in thinking mood this day ...
... which means it's time for saucy doubts and fears because naughty comrade Bill and Penny Wong are stealing his thunder ...
Oh indeed, indeed. Far better to be consistently positive in the Terror style ...
Is it any wonder Malware isn't on a major win, and please, credit where real credit is due, thanks to the always helpful reptiles at the Terror and their faithful readers ...
Indeed, indeed, and a deep abiding love of the onion muncher is one of the key features of the reptile press and its wonderful readership, willing to pay to keep the Murdochian dream alive ...
Remarkably good spirits? Isn't that the British way when being marched through the prison to meet with the hangman, singing who'll come a waffling with me on the NBN?
Steady, naysayers. Sharri is excited because he's big with Trump ... (and quite possibly Duterte too, nothing like strong men hanging around in manly groups while the nerd on the outer wonders if he can join in the games) ...
Steady, naysayers. Sharri is excited because he's big with Trump ... (and quite possibly Duterte too, nothing like strong men hanging around in manly groups while the nerd on the outer wonders if he can join in the games) ...
What sayeth the naysayers now?
By golly the Terror readers are adept at maths and atspreading joy and goodwill ... if only the pond could work out where they get it from.
Never mind, did someone mention the Donald?
Sorry, just for a moment there, the pond went back to its current interest, the bizarre circus in the United States which sees evangelical Christians voting for a predator ...
Well Friday's nearly over, and one more sleep and we'll be on to the bromancer sorting out the world, and speaking of the world, at last it's time for some deliberate, as opposed to unconscious humour, with more papal deliberations here ...
Fascinated to discover in that Terror piece that Sharri is their National Political Editor. I imagined that she was a fashion reporter, hauled in to boost their Cheer Squad efforts for the LNP. You'd expect that National Political Editor would require some minimal knowledge of the political issues.
ReplyDeleteBut when you look at the Terror's political agenda, and the hopeless tossers they have to support and defend (mostly defend) it's probably an advantage to be completely clueless. No wonder Sharri is such a favourite.
