Coping with grief ...
How many stages of grief?
And yet how hopeful were the reptiles as late as Friday arvo ...
Lead narrows, exhausted Albo, Polonius getting a tingle berating Tingle, the lizard Oz editorialist on song, the bookies not to be trusted, just six seats short of power ...
And now?
The cultists show their independence and ability to produce diverse front pages ...
And so to a few different snaps, with the arm lifting and the sickening grinning heart-rending, and way too much for a reptile to bear ...
Oh it seemed so long ago ...
And now this ... oi oi oi ...
There were other great cartoons from the usual sources ...

Now that's a cartoon ...
And so to the gloating and the savouring of the reptile tears ...
Oh yes, for once the pond is actually looking forward to its Monday outing with the reptiles...

And you’ve trashed the Libs
They’re all scattered to the wind
They have nothing left to cling to
As the blame sets in
But they knew that it was over
No matter what you did
Your campaign burned out long before
You bulldozed that poor kid…
The above ditty was by Kez - I've stuffed up my Google account.
DeleteDidn't think it could be anybody else, Kez. But "As the blame sets in" ? If only ...
DeleteHi Dorothy,
ReplyDeleteWill the reptiles realise they are out of sync with the mood of the country and move to more even balanced reportage, where issues like climate change, are discussed with sober consideration?
Or will they have an epic meltdown?
I don’t think it will take long to find out.
