On Sundays it falls to the pond to wade through the Sunday Terrorists, and that reliable font of bigotry and bile ... and see what sort of click bait it can drum up ...
Yet in the oi, oi, tradition, the Devine has gone missing this Sunday and been replaced by an inexplicable, inexcusable beyond the valley of the bimbo piece which the pond simply refuses to run ...
Is there an opening on Team Twit too?
But if the Devine is MIA, at least the pond discovered her splendid assault on the Caterists from last week ...
Yes, a quarter mill here, a quarter mill there, and pretty soon you're talking real money ...
It's costing us more to keep the Caterists in style than to keep a useless National Wind Farm Commissioner ...
The pond can barely believe it is writing these words: well written Miranda the Devine, please keep scribbling more hate, fear and loathing at the Caterists ...
And so to the pond's second choice for the day ...
... and when saying second choice, means the gap between sunlight and hell ...
Please, allow the pond a Claire Harveyism ...
Thankfully the pond can say it's still not used to Akker Dakker's level of bigotry and bile. Maybe extensive exposure helps produce some kind of immunity or psychic force field ...
Now as a proud secularist atheist from Tamworth - centre of the known universe until Barners ruined everything - nothing in what follows should be construed as endorsing or supporting Islam, which is a form of delusion as ridiculous as all the others ...
But here's the thing. Akker Dakker only ever has a go at the Islamics, and routinely leaves all the other nonsense alone.
Where's the fairness in that? Where's the dinkum and the balanced oi, oi, oi?
It's just the usual thing. Select one bad apple, and mock the multi-culti crowd, but we all know where this might lead ...
After all, every religion has their bad apples, just as News Corp is littered with wastrels and ne'er do wells ...
Now at this point, it's right to wonder why Akker Dakker never goes on about scandals in the Jewish community ...remember that scandalous principal? ... or the scandals in the Catholic or the Anglican churches. No need to wait for the final report for that litany of disgrace ...
And then there are the secular scandals ... men importing women for purposes of prostitution, and the sex slave trade that flourishes ... and that's before we get on to the abuse of young people forced into wretched jobs which make a mockery of the minimum wage ...
At the drop of a hat the pond can find the time to mock the complimentary women crowd who spout this sort of malarkey ...
Bow down?
Some might prefer the company of Satan to being a complimentary woman, you goose ...
And you can see where this megalomaniac desire for world power leads the angry Sydney Anglicans ...
They're sending missionaries out into the world to spread the good news about complimentary women?
There's how the world ends up fucked in a nutshell... angry Anglican missionaries here, heading out to battle mindless Daesh missionaries, and over there underwear-clad Mormon missionaries trying out for a role in a Broadway musical, and down the street, Scientological missionaries ready to E-meter the cash out of your purse ...
Oh okay, Akker Dakker was really only an excuse to do a Sunday rail at religion, but now the price must be paid ...
The pond is now standing by for Akker Dakker's assault on MGM - no not the Hollywood studio, which really only has its library of Bond films as a trade asset after UA fell - but the male genital mutilation practised by an assorted bunch of fanatical religions ...
As for the rest of the rant, sadly the multi-culti is out of the bottle, and Akker Dakker's call for it to be dumped is just silly.
It's true that it has resulted in some terrible outcomes, some shocking betrayals of all that those brought up under the flag of the British empire have come to expect ... and there are many who must be viewed with deep suspicion ....
But let's be fair to Akker Dakker, he might be just yeoman British. Sure he was born in Wewak, Papua New Guinea, before trotting off to India, and so might be deported back to PNG, but please allow the pond to go for a more clear-cut example ...
Just look at this hideous reminder of multi culti failure the pond Hunted out on wiki ...
Sorry Akker Dakker, much as you'd like to deport the Bolter and rid the country of those dreadful Boers who quite ruined the life of Breaker Morant, we're stuck with him ...
Perhaps if you extended to others the tolerance you extend to that dreadful Dutch import, things would get better ...
Meanwhile, speaking of ten pound Poms, as the pond sometimes does when the Irish genes get over-excited, the onion muncher is another example of getting stuck with a dud ...
Oh you absolutely spiffing goose, that's a British flag in the top left corner and you're worshipping the fruits of the ten pound Pom scheme, but even worse, your real crime is to talk of "it's borders."
No wonder Akker Dakker called for the deportation of anyone who can't speaka the proper English ...
Please repeat the rule: "It's" with an apostrophe means "It is," and "Its" is the possessive, and so
"no country or continent can open it is borders" makes absolutely no sense.
"no country or continent can open it is borders" makes absolutely no sense.
Reluctantly the pond has signed deportation orders, and you will report to a Cockney gulag for a period of no less than a year to learn the English proper ...
At the end of the Akker Dakker piece came a heartfelt plea ...
Well at first the pond was going to suggest in a modest and humble way that perhaps that strong, fearless leader - willing to deport the Bolter, Akker Dakker, angry Sydney Anglicans and a whole bunch of other fundamentalists - could be a secularist atheist from Tamworth, even if the town has been polluted by the presence of Barners ...
But then it thought better ,and thought of a man who exemplified all that was best about British and Australian cultures and who could teach those dreadful Islamics a lesson in civics ...
And now, oh valiant world, we have a man who loves to grope pussies as the leader of the United States ...
Islamics, tremble at the west's deep integrity ...
And look, not once did the pond mention the current state of parliamentary entitlements and the pigocracy ... no matter the many temptations ...
"...your real crime is to talk of "it's borders." "
ReplyDeleteNot too sure about "your families future" either, DP. Maybe "your family's future" ? Or possibly even something like "all families' futures" ?
Well played GB, though its the its that really gives the ponds the sh its
DeleteWell despite my occasional inattentive failures, I have to agree with you totally there, DP.
DeleteBut I guess the one that really gets up my goat is the "I'll try and improve" meme. So you'll try, and you'll improve - guaranteed ! Or did you really mean "I'll try to improve, but actual improvement is not guaranteed". [Not referring to you, personally, DP, but to the generic "you" that has long replaced the stylistically obsolescent "one"].
The only one along that line that's basically acceptable is "I'll go and see" - you will go, and the you will see.
Sounds to me like creeping Americanism in our grammar, GB.
Delete... and while we're on the subject, the saying of estimates "between 6 to 10"; that is, 'between 6 TO 10' when what is meant is 'between 6 AND 10'. I'm still waiting for the rest of it: "between 6-10 and WHAT!?!"
DeleteI think it's just about reached the stage where "creeping" has become "galloping" Merc. (sigh)
DeleteBut conjunctions and prepositions are just going to blazes these days: for instance the people who say "I'm bored of x". To me it always was, and always will be "bored with x". And talking about Americanisms, what about the "off of" meme ? As in "I got it off of him" instead of the simple "got it from him". Why is "off of" considered an improvement over 'from" ?
Oh well, language is a "living thing" they tell me, and like all such aspects of humanity, they eventually experience a "race to the bottom", I guess.
I wouldn't put MGM in quite the same category as FGM, DP. Along with most other males who were mutilated shortly after birth, I'm still perfectly capable of getting my rocks off.
ReplyDeleteMGM may have been misguided, but it's nowhere near as damaging in the long term.
Beat me to it, Gruebleen!
ReplyDeleteGotta be quick on these high click-rate blogs, DWT, 'cos there's only the quick and the dead.
Delete'I believe in democracy', whatever it means, at least got a glam pic of Our Nicole for her fan-mags - Fairfax, News, ABC. Job done!
ReplyDeleteWe are a pathetic lot.
Sisters are doin' it for themselves...
