In which the pond's Friday is saved by Moorice ...

Bloody typical. Paul Keating defaming alley cats again …when it's well-known that most alley cats have more ethics in their front paws than can be found in the entirety of Nine …

There's been much concern at where this might leave the ABC, but the reptiles must also be looking nervously over their shoulders …

After all, the only reason to buy the Terror in Sydney is for its thugby league coverage, but Nine controls the thugby league on television and will expect favourable treatment in its new, shortly to become even more tabloid, acquisitions … while Nine's 'journalism' - or perhaps 'sensationalism' - has always veered towards lizard Oz territory in terms of feral political philosophies …

Once you've been run for years by a bully, and then Petey boy steps in, it's hard to change that sort of tainted culture ...

Let the turf wars begin … but as the pond stopped looking at Fairfax the moment the 'magic water man' disappeared over the horizon, others will have to decide what it all means.

The pond's main concern is for the fate of the immortal Rowe

… and the infallible Pope

Still, talent endures, so they will survive … which is more than can be said for the desperate, narcissist, onion-munching attention seeker out on parade today in the lizard Oz …

He really has moved beyond the valley of the desperately hysterical paranoid, and for a moment the pond thought it might have had the odious duty of paying attention to the loon still lurking in its masthead …a nauseating duty, seeing as how the onion muncher has moved into pure, undiluted Hansonite racism turf ...

Luckily, with things exceptionally dire at the Speccie mob - no Giles, no Flinty, just the usual arm breaker, Switzer, John Stone, Brownie and, bizarrely, Helen Dale explaining how to succeed at scribbling - Moorice heard the pond's plaintive cries and rode to the rescue …

Look, there, just below the McCrann celebrating the deal of the century, as two flailing, failing businesses come together...

Phew, what a relief, and a way for the pond to liquidate some more of its excess US cartoon stock … as free floating in the market as soybeans …

And so to the Moorice main course …

Talk about rich and rewarding reading. Who knew that Moorice was a lover of tariff wars and would be able to scribble furiously in praise of a basic income?

Can a full conversion to socialism and the New Deal be far behind?

It was so delicious - the lemonade and Moorice's thoughts - that the pond was overcome with the sort of overwhelming tristesse that is supposed to come with la petite mort, knowing that there would only be one more short gobbet of Moorice groping for the truth …

Say what?

Is there a little doubt creeping into Moorice's infallible understanding of what works in the world?

"… however imperfect … Trump may fail…"???

Yet somehow the deplorables will manage to march on and the revolution will continue and intensify?

That sounds more like some desperate scribbling frantically as the French revolution devolved into a killing fields frenzy than the coal loving, climate science denying Moorice the pond has routinely celebrated over the years …

Glorious times … a glorious revolutionary future lies ahead comrades … Aux arms, citoyens! Formez vos bataillons! Marchons! Marchons! Qu'un sang impur abreuve nos sillons!

The blood impure? Why it sounds just like the onion muncher!

Please, join Moorice and the onion muncher in singing along here … with those who suffer the dreadful impact of bone spurs most welcome to join the chicken hawkery …while others celebrate the coming distractions ...

  1. "Nine has ethics of an alley cat: Keating"

Yair, takes one to know one, eh. Except that alley cats generally have better ethics than a lot of people.

But how about Moorice, eh ? There he is happily cherry picking Trump twitter trolls about how extraordinarily popular Trump is:
Moorice: "...accordimg to a July 4 Rasmussen poll, US President Donald Trump enjoyed a higher approval rating than Barack Obama did at that time in his presidency."

Now if you want a more evidenced and reasoned analysis, try here: https://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2017/jun/19/donald-trump/donald-trump-tweet-50-approval-cherry-picks-pollin/

But it's truly a lovely illustration of all that is humanly perverted: Moorice "lies to himself" (ie uncritically feeds nonsense into his mental compartments) so that he can honestly and sincerely display his deep "truthism" to the rest of us. And especially to his fellow "truthists" - which apparently doesn't include Janet Albrechtsen these days, who appears to be totally silent about 'MAGA man' now.

What would we do without the wonderful time-saving contributions of the Moorices of this world: since everything they say is either just 'untruthful' or otherwise a complete lie, they show us rapidly and effortlessly what not to believe.

  2. Off topic.
But it must be obvious to others how much the ABC has continually playe His Masters Voice calling Bill Shorten a liar without him being challenged.
A very simple question could be asked. The claims by Turnbull that the electrical failure in South Australia was because of having too large a content of renewable energy when the political Journalists must know that it was caused by a wind storm and that Turnbull should have been corrected by journalists by saying to Turnbull that he is telling lies.

    1. Turnbull acknowledged that the “immediate cause of the blackout” was “an extreme weather event” that knocked over more than 20 towers and lines.

Now you don't really think that a politician "with the morals of an alley cat" wouldn't cover his arse by including everything whatsoever in his press rants, would you ww ?
