The pond sneaks off for a break ...

With the Trumpification of the bromancer complete, and a huge parade in the wings, the pond is sneaking off for an early break. There's only so much excitement the pond can stand.

And what do you know, it turns out the Donald on parade is an old joke ...

He didn't pop, he didn't deflate and now the bromancer loves the Donald hugely ...

The bromancer was wildly excited by the way the Donald would send all the late-night comics into a frenzy, and he did ...

And Deadline Hollywood caught a whiff of the excitement here ...

How soon before the bromancer scores a guest appearance on F&F. Sadly, the head job at the FBI appears to be taken ...

  1. Have a good one, Dorothy.
Re the lovely cartoon of Trump as Napoleon, wearing a sword, did you know that the only Arms protected by the 2nd amendment are guns? Popular 18th C. weapons such as swords, daggers, broad axes, maces are a no-no.

    1. Of course they are, Joe; not nearly deadly enough ! Can't kill 59 and wound 527 by throwing daggers at them from the 32nd floor. It'd take a hell of an effort to get all those daggers up to the 32nd in the first place.

  2. Not sure about that Joe. State laws regulate those weapons, but afaik there's nothing in the 2nd Amendment that says they're not still considered "arms"? I'm not sure it's ever been tested properly. You can see why the gun lobby isn't going to fund a Supreme Court battle to protect someone's right to walk around with a concealed broad axe or switchblade...

Cartoon President was pretty good. Favourite line was from one of the sons trying to cheer Trump up: "Washington's gonna criticize us no matter what we do. So we should just do us, which is you. I want to see the guy who sued my mom!"

    Have a good weekend everyone.

    1. Hmmm. A concealed broad-axe would be something - about on a par with a concealed AK47 probably.
