In which the pond confronts an Oreo crisis ...

Forget West Texas! Forget Breitbart appearing at the top of the pond!
There's an Oreo shortage much closer to home, an existential crisis that sent the pond reeling. No Oreo on a Monday!? What are the reptiles doing, what are they thinking?

The pond realises that the reptiles love to fuck with the pond's mind, but that's usually done by providing a generous supply of Oreos.

No Oreo on a Monday is a cruel and unusual punishment, and for a moment, the pond felt it couldn't carry on ...

Is there anything that remotely could substitute for an Oreo? What have the Terrorists got to offer?

Little Timmie Bleagh, and the Bolter, himself a dab hand at the grievance games, blaming it all on the movies?

Talk about tired and pathetic, though for a nanosecond the pond was tempted to join in the chant of "lock him up, lock him up" ...

What else to do with the head of a studio that perpetrated Logan, Alien: Covenant, War for the Planet of the Apes, and perhaps most dire and unimaginable of all, Kingsman: The Golden Circle ...

Lock him up ...

Just because he's getting out of the game and turning Disney feral is no way to avoid past crimes ... but speaking of that deal ...

It's probably best to google for the rest of that story - here's the link as a clue - but it helps explain just why the chairman and his minions so love the Trump ...

And locally the lizards of Oz have risen to the challenge, as the Trumpification of the rag proceeds apace.

Already the bromancer has shown he's drunk deep of the Trumpist kool-aid, and this day the lizard Oz editorialist cracked open a bottle ...

Intolerable election interference? He won, he's in the job ...

What else could the contrived fuss be about?

What's that, something to do with Vlad the impaler and the Ruskis and the deviant Mueller?

Not in the world of the lizard Oz editorialist ...

Ah the good old "deep state" conspiracy ... the pond is already familiar with that one thanks to assorted cartoons, with more TT available here ...

  1. Oz Editorialist: "The document raises disturbing questions about the FBI's conduct as well as that of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court. The questions go to the heart of allegations of a "deep state" conspiracy ..."

What, the whole appallingly partisan effort of the NY FBI cell to destroy Hillary's campaign is just nothing ?

I have to say, given the abominable history of both the CIA and the FBI (Alllen W Dulles or J Edgar Hoover anybody ?) and the dedication of elements in both organisations to what amounts to 'deep state' activities, it really goes against the grain to in any way try to defend or justify either organisation. So I won't.

But I will query the Oz Editorialist's obvious ability to continually swallow the most egregious bullshvt and treat it as holy gospel. I just stand in awe of their ability to swallow heaps of shvt and then regurgitate it well and truly polished.
