In which the pond joins the Caterists in deploring grants for bullshit artists ...

The pond has many distractions, and many, many days of the week the urbane Urban alerts it to all sorts of salacious and shocking scandals ...

Up against the disgrace of identity politics, even a brand new energy policy struggles for front page space ...

Look at that ... history and Wilkinson lost ... but at least the power crisis is fixed ...

Oh sure the real pitch was to lawyers, with a wrap-around ...

But whenever anyone mentions issues facing the legal profession, the pond always reaches for Shakespeare's solution ...

Never mind, all this is just an elaborate ritual introduction to the real point of a lunch time treat ... quality time with the Caterists, brooding about the way all that's evil emanates from the deep south ...

How could anyone waste time with the urbane Urban when the Caterist is on the Victorian case?

If there's one certainty in life, it's that the Caterists know all there is to know about dogma, certainty, piety, righteousness and an infinite capacity for tedious pomposity and humbug ...

Money for pot and poofters?

No wonder the Caterist was outraged.

There's far too much government money going to bludgers ...and the Caterist was on the case ...

Indeed, indeed, when will they ever understand decent hard-headed philosophies of cultural exclusion?

As for all those thousands of grants, large and small, the pond was shocked, shocked to its very core ...

Might the pond recommend to the Caterists an inquiry into this sort of carefree grant-giving?

The pond might have to do some further checking to see who those government grant bludgers at the Menzies Research Centre are ...

No doubt the Caterists will have a clue and will take a stand ...

Meanwhile there's all sorts of bludgers beavering away scoring grants, as listed here ...

Shocking stuff. And yet Solomon-like in the division of the spoils, without any unnecessary slicing up of babies ...all to promote democracy in foreign climes ...

But it's back to those fiends in Victoria, doing all they can to traduce dinkum Australians.

No wonder the Caterist was appalled at handing out money designed to reduce homophobia, when everyone knows it's a proud Australian tradition to go poofter bashing on a Saturday night ...

After all, that's democracy at work in local climes ...

You know, it takes some fair fucking cheek for a bullshit artist sucking deep on the taxpayer teat to carry on about grants and bullshit, but that's the rich and wonderful hypocrisy of the Caterist at work ...

The pond has no idea how he gets up each day and how he reacts when he does a Dorian Gray squiz in the mirror ...

Pesumably the delusion is so strong the Caterist imagines scribbling bullshit for the lizard Oz while on the taxpayer dime makes his form of meaningless nonsense better than that of countless other professional neigh-sayers ...

Does he have the first clue about the moral harm he and his reptile companions do each day, with their obsessive homophobia and rabbiting on about identity politics? With bonus humbug ...

Does he really want a monolithic culture of humbugging bullshitting Murdochians?

Apparently he does ...

But how someone who draws down money from the Australian taxpayer and then whines and complains about a culture of complaint and entitlement, and talks up the personal virtues of prudence, fortitude and courage -  apparently gained by writing out an application to the Department of Finance - is so richly delusional that Freud and the pond could spend years contemplating reptiles like this as they gaze up their fundaments and see nothing but themselves...

How can he ignore the smell?

Perhaps he just sprays on some of that fragrant liquid favoured by the asbestos lady, as noted by Rowe, with more Rowe here ...

  1. About Goosebumps Cater, one could say 'the delusional force is strong in that one'.

So, in search of enlightenment, I went and greghunted 'delusion' and this is what the web answered: "an idiosyncratic belief or impression maintained despite being contradicted by reality or rational argument, typically as a symptom of mental disorder."

But then came the light bulb moment: Cater is not deluded because he really does see the world his way. So there is no 'contradiction' by reality but just a continuing confirmation that he sees the world the way it really is, and he just can't understand why the rest of us are so deluded.

Just like a lot of his mates do, too.

As the day passes on I have become more and more disillusioned by politics in Australia how can the ordinary voters change what is happening to our democracy when we have pipsqueaks like Cater having influence politically by way of Murdoch press.
Turnbull is a loser and will eventually fail as a Prime Minister because he is a liar and and his enemies will bring him down from within his party.
Murdoch has infected the world with his extreme belief that he is king maker and is entitled to espouse his ideas to have the world believe his sort of dictatorship that is best for the world.
