In which dashing Donners makes the pond's Friday a studious, solemn affair ...

Not that the pond is paranoid - it's in complete possession of the facts - but the reptiles seem to have started to hide pond favourites ...

There's the easy mark of scintillating Sharri in this day's Terror, but look, buried down on the far right, there's talk of family culture, but not a clue that it came from a pond oracle, dashing Donners ...

It was only google that cared and gave a clue ...

Butt, butt, billy goat, Donners is a pond favourite and a must read.

What's more, Donners started off with a general knowledge quiz, and the pond knew it had the answer and was on a winner ...

Say what? Oh sir, pick me, pick me ...

Why the answer is as easy as falling off a log, or the Donald doing an IQ test ...

As everyone knows, the reason why students from Asian and Indian backgrounds get the best Year 12 results is because of their Judeo-Christian heritage ...

Oh wait, perhaps it's their western civilisation heritage ...

Damn these multiple choice questions. Maybe it's not so easy? Is the answer "because those lazy ignorant layabout Irish Catholic bludgers are a bunch of tossers"?

Oh dear, are the pond's Irish genes showing?

Indeed, indeed, the pond set the highest expectations for its offspring.

They had to become President of the United States ... a job which required the highest most demanding skill set that could be imagined, with many subtle responses to difficult questions required ...

When the offspring cheekily pointed out that he needed to be a natural born American citizen, and the pond's dumb Irish forebears had headed to Australia in a useless search for gold with which to buy potatoes - the supply having shortened in the home country - the pond boxed his ears and sent him on his way with a curse ...

The pond realised that what he needed was high expectations and hard work. How else to produce a crack-up as big as the Ritz?

How else to get to a position like Donners and blather platitudes and certitudes? Hands up please if you know the answer ... and anyone who replies in Latin or talks of Judeo-Christian heritage when they should be talking Indian-Asian smarts will have their ears soundly boxed.

Indeed, indeed.

Australia is completely fucked, no doubt about it, and luckily Donners is to hand to explain why those Indian and Asian students waste their time in a completely fucked country ...

Fancy being happy when you could upwardly strive and achieve the condition of genius ...

We certainly need to improve not just in spelling, but in maths and science ...

What was it Donners said?

Forget wrapping children in cotton wool and never telling them they have failed. Also forget the belief that parents have to always be positive and that the best approach is to reinforce children’s ego and self-esteem. Children need to be challenged, to be told when they have got it wrong — and that success and accomplishing something worthwhile requires hard work, application and effort.

Indeed, indeed, you only have to look at the wondrous President of the United States to see how that approach can turn out ...

Sorry Donald, you're a total loser and a dropkick, Donners told me to tell you, and if that's what Judeo-Christian and western civilisation produces, maybe we'd be better off with a Communist Chinese dictatorship or a bunch of Hindu nationalists running things ...

Dearie me, and there was the pond thinking that there was a lot Australian parents could learn from the wonders of western civilisation and from their Judeo-Christian forebears ...

The pond was reminded of another IQ test to be found here in full ...

It would have been so much better if that IQ test had just focussed on the benefits of coal ...

  1. Oh to live in the simple, single dimensional world inhabited by Donners: "To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield."

Will nobody ever tell him that the secret of big money isn't 'school study' these days (just ask any and all of those comfortable upper middle class Adjunct and/or Visiting "Professors" or any of the many recent law graduates in the USA), it's that despised sport thingy. Why even in a failing backwater like Australia, a top Aussie Rules player can get Au$1,000,000 per annum. And as for international class soccer players ...

    1. You're not suggesting GB, that Donners is - gasp - a foolish nerd who entirely misses the point?

    2. Umm, suggesting that Donners may really be a bit of a wet weed who doesn't know which end of the week is Friday, DP ? Gracious me, no, never.

Amusingly though, back not too many years ago, and the 'race' that Donners would have been praising was, of course, the ethnic Jews. They were the ones being 'tiger momm'd' into academic success (well, the boys were, anyway). Why, even Charles Murray in his Great Big Book of Modern Racial Stereotypes found that the Jews came second - after Asians to be sure - on his IQ success list. And way ahead of us simpleton Caucasians, of course, so nothing much has changed.

In Australia we didn't have many Asians (Eastern or Southern) back then, so it was Jewish kids at the top for us. And that is why they now own and control Australia, as Donners will explain to you.

But anyway, far be it for me to call Donners a milksop or namby-pamby who just couldn't play sport and still resents that fact.
