In which she's baaack, and just as much a trolling bigot as ever, as the pond splashes on the fragrant essence of Australia's heart of darkness ...

As if anyone could keep her away, or deprive weekend punters of their serve of vitriolic bile and unseemly hate from a deeply unhappy and divisive woman ...

And with the return of the Devine, petulant Peta disappears, and it's back to the old firm of the Devine and Akker Dakker ...

Well, the pond is happy to leave Akker Dakker to cash in on Cash, because these days its primary duty is to check on the state of the civil war, and to reassure observers that homophobia is alive and well in Murdochians in general, and in the Terror in particular, and who better to help do that than the Devine scribbling furiously on her return to the Sunday Terror ...

Oh faawwwk. Now to be fair, the Terror did attempt to produce some kind of balance, though it began with a mindlessly stupid header ...

A nanosecond's reflection would remind anyone of what a doofus Harvey is ...

Say what? Homophobia dies when everyone has a gay friend or family member, and suddenly they're down and hip with it?

Eek, what next in social memes, there's a bear in there?

And yet Harvey is what the Terror offers as balance to the Devine, who purports to be a fair minded democrat, honourable and respectable, when of course she's a bigot of the fundamentalist Catholic kind ... and let's not talk about her contribution to climate science ...

Never mind, it's on with the rest of the show, with the pond expecting a display of fireworks if the Devine breaks Godwin's Law yet again, and invokes fascism ...

Oh et tu parrot, et tu?

Curiously the parrot also turned up in the Harvey column:

Poor deluded Harvey. It's as if she never reads the Terror, and certainly not the Devine.

You see, the pond remains optimistic that Godwin's Law might yet be broken and homosexuals, routinely murdered in Hitler's Germany, might still be deemed fascist ...

Yep, there she blows.

After railing at the level of the debate, the Devine comes out with a form of ratbag abuse - "rainbow fascism" - that only a deviant troll of the lowest and most base and vile kind would use...

But then we routinely go there in Murdochian la la land ...

And the result is a readership attuned to the signals being sent, capable of getting through the aluminium hat, and talking direct to the micro chip in Bev's tooth ...

Yes, that was Bev's response to Harvey's suggestion the world, or at least Australia, was now a more tolerant place ...

Now apropos the Devine and fascism, the pond can't count the number of times it's invoked actual history and actual fascism, and the ongoing hate which sees even memorials attacked ...

This is the image that still offends, that sees yellow tape put around it, and which sees the likes of the Devine scribble about rainbow fascism ...

Never mind, we all know the scent that the Devine promotes ...

... though the pond urges keen shoppers to keep an eye out for a brand new fragrance just in store ...

  1. For all her vitriol, Devine is 'fantastically' soft when scribbling about her faves.

  2. So good she's back - it just isn't the same without that Mal-eficent essence of Mal-efaction.

The pet. Pet has just an enormous learning curve to ascend before she's in the same space-time continuum.

  3. Here he is the original photo of Abbott in his Fonz gear. He jumped the shark long before he entered politics. And he went to narcissistic length of framing a framed story from Andrew Bolt titled “Tony’s the real deal" - narcissist!
