In which the bromancer bounces off into the land of the delusional ...

Naturally at the times where there are momentous international events going down, the pond always turns to the unbalanced brand that specialises in specious insights and false equivalence ...

And what good form the bromancer is in today ...

Stop right there, speaking of false equivalence. Clinton is just a tawdry conventional professional politician with dubious skills and a tendency to mis-steps.

Donald Trump is a barking mad narcissist and demagogue with autocratic, authoritarian and totalitarian inclinations.

The answer isn't likely to be yes, if Donald Trump wins ... that's just a stupid thing to write, but on a par with the approach taken by the bromancer's master ...

Well we've run the headline before, we'll run it again ...

A very able man ... and so on ... as we head down the bromancer track to more equivalence and the notion that all would be well if Trump won, perhaps because he would remain an isolated figurehead locked away in the White House like a mad uncle infesting an attic ... in much the same way, perhaps, as he's been virtually invisible in the presidential campaign (warning, cheap sarcasm alert):

What irritates the pond in all this is how quislings and facilitators like the bromancer can airily wave their hands in the air and say "all will be well" and "bromancer is willing" and other sorts of equivalence tosh ... on a par with the sort of facilitation performed by the bromancer's American kissing cousins ...

Well yes, it's truly weird that the pond has to turn to Ted Cruz for an insight, and there's more in the Graudian here ... and while there's been some cracks in the wall since, the faithful, of the Hannity kind, go on pushing the notion that Trump would merely behave as a President inclined to a little naughty locker room talk, and where's the harm in that?

Nope, sorry, the pond's big analytical mistake was to read the bromancer and expect that it would produce anything other than the usual desire to shout loudly at the reptiles ...

And each day the pond makes exactly the same big analytical mistake!

No wonder it's as deluded as the reptiles and given the level of delusional nonsense scribbled by the bromancer, that's truly alarming ...

The down under reptiles have always shown a reluctance to go all the way with their chairman and their Fox kissing cousins ... and yet the divisions, the fracture, the great divide in the United States has marched in arm lock with the doings of the Murdochians and Fox News and Roger Ailes.

Routinely, whenever the down under reptiles try to do a history lesson, they ignore this recent history for the comfort of past Nixonian times ...

Tricky Dick as a moderate conservative? Ye ancient howling cats and banshees ...

So, if the pond may be so bold as to summarise it all, Hillary Clinton's presidency is likely to be an abject failure and a disaster, as Republicans veer even harder right to retain the base, and do everything they can to block her. And then four years after that a moderate Republican will arrive, swing back to the centre, and all will be well and America will surge back, with President Donald just an interesting memory ... though that stoush over the nukes and the surge in natural disasters did thankfully revive an interest in tree killer newspapers and help with the reptile business plan ...

Well, it's something to splutter over at breakfast, or you could just resort to tea leaves or ferreting through chicken entrails ...

Meanwhile, hasn't the onion muncher been doing well for himself, urging Australia not to go down the path of Fox lunacy and every citizen armed for the coming battle to drain the swamp ...

And once more how supine and tone deaf has Malware shown himself to be, as conjured up by Rowe, with the reminder that there's always more Rowe here ...

  1. Dogs? Fleas? Roosters? Roosting? This shit is verging on the spectacular. And every time you revisit one of the Chairman'd prescient tweets, or the Caterist's funding claims, the common people sigh in gratitude Dorothy.

Was it only 14 months ago we had an Onion Muncher presiding over the farm? What a rich year and a bit it has been.

  2. "Clinton is just a tawdry conventional professional politician with dubious skills and a tendency to mis-steps." [You are referring to Hillary, here, aren't you DP ?]

And that's it, isn't it. All of it. After 30+ years of Clinton bashing and slanderous lies and accusations, that's really all there is. Trump has had just a few months under the spotlight, and what can be said about him ? Calling him merely "tawdry" would be unqualified praise.

But the reptiles have their unmovable belief system: yes to libertarianism, no to climate change and Hillary is an evil, criminal liar. Who will nonetheless make a better president than Trump. Hooray !

    1. They treat Clinton like they treated Gillard, GB. A woman in charge? Must be a witch, or at least have a questionable past, preferably involving a shady man (husband or boyfriend, doesn't matter). What the heck, a witch hunt is obviously the thing to do!

    2. better president - oxymoron

      How is that ever so?

Jackie Cogan (Brad Pitt) on the night of a presidential election, here (from 1:53):

"My friend, Thomas Jefferson is an American saint because he wrote the words 'All men are created equal', words he clearly didn't believe ...

      America's not a country. It's just a business.

      Now fuckin' pay me."

All things Murdoch are banned in my humble abode, but I can't agree with the attacks on Hilary. I may be the only person who thinks so, but I think she is a very capable person and with her intelligence, calm and experience will make a great President.
