In which the pond weakens and discovers it's the same as it ever was thanks to the Bolter ...

Of course the pond was going to drop in on the Bolter and just as inevitably the Bolter would be scratching the backs of the colonials and visiting dropkicks who fancy that there's a condition known as Tory Marxist with high church leanings ...

Yes, the Bolter and the pond were at one in their informed delight at the Poms instructing the colonials on ways to improve ...

Well thankfully it's only a screen cap so there's no link to that petition, but that talk of Kiribati drowning in shit just happened to coincide with a nifty interactive special at the Graudian here which just happened to feature Kiribati  ...

Now there's some mighty fine shit to be drowning in ... or if you will, some shit, or if you will, so that's what shit looks like for those with shit for brains ...

But that's the Bolter, epic climate scientist, always diligent in his work ...

Dear sweet long absent lord, to be able to fit 'Jeff Kennett' and facts into the one header.

Naturally the pond went off to refresh memories of Dr Roy ...

There's a lot more here, but the pond had to move on because the spectre of Kennett led naturally on to another favourite sport ...

Remember the old days?

Well he was always a born, incorrigible liar, or perhaps saying someone panicked like a headless chook is just a jolly jape amongst chums.

The wall punching onion muncher is really hitting his stride now, and they all lap it up, the Fairfaxians and the reptiles, because it's an easy story, the wrecking, the undermining and the sniping ...

And naturally the Bolter is here to help ...

Put it another way:

The fix is in.

Off the leash!

Well the only question is whether the Liberals will be stupid enough to revert to Abbott, or go with someone remotely competent. A difficult search, but one worth having if they don't want to revert to Chairman Kev syndrome.

We know where the Bolter's heart lies ...

Indeed, indeed, and there's an inexhaustible supply of cartoons available on the full to overflowing intertubes to remind us how good Abbott looked with every passing week ...

As for the Bolter ...

Same as it ever was, same as it ever was ...

  1. Of all the days for Andy to actually spin-off into the ether blathering about people blathering about his good self - it was RUOK day?

He's not a man given to hiding the signals is he?

  2. Brendan O'Neill - "A nasty man said nasty things about me!". Demonstrating yet again that RWNJs are sooks.

  3. OMG that pic of Abbott without a shirt: the Devine will be wetting herself!

  4. I don't actually get what's going on.

Do Bolt and Co actually believe that a return to "their" man will fix everything?

Surely they can't be that wide of the mark.

    Can they?
