Every one a go-er, and none go better than the Sunday Terrorists ...

Crikey on 16th July 2015 ... and the front page in question ...

Never mind, the hundred dollar lamb roast averted, mangroves doing well, and everyone with five hundred bucks instantly knocked off their electricity bill ...

Oh wait, still having problems?

Oh wait, hadn't this attracted the attention of Media Watch back in July 2012?

Never mind, it's sure to have had a beneficial effect, and people have banked their five hundred bucks, and banked all the tremendous savings produced by the big switch?

Electricity prices must surely have plunged to record, astonishing lows in NSW ...

Say what the watt?

Yes, the sweet little earner is still going on and it doesn't seem to have made the slightest dent in electricity prices.

Roll on the hundred dollar lamb roast and the sell job. Would you like Tru-coat with the lower prices? We can do you a special deal ...

But wait, there's a few riders, codicils, out clauses, and a bit of wriggle room and queasy modifiers attached to the splendid offer ...

Oh yes, the sweet little earner, right there at the bottom. Who could forget that?

No carbon tax, and splendid deal-making since it was celebrated on Media Watch back in 2012, and here we are with exactly the same little scam still being rolled out...

Not just a gutter tabloid rag ... it also doubles as a TV show ... and aren't the mangroves doing well?

  1. There's been an as yet unexplained widespread die off of mangroves along the southern coast of the Gulf of Carpentaria earlier this year. Hot water? Hot air? Katter?
