Day 89 of MUC and day 42 of MOC and we are all Spartacus now ...

The reptiles are very excited at the moment. They seem to have foresworn all talk of the "homosexual agenda" or the "gay agenda" ... witness this splash ...

Indeed, indeed, that takes care of the Sydney Anglicans,  but what about the Catholics and the Islamics?

Oh wait, the pond did a little selective editing ... this was the real feast ...

Oh indeed, indeed, he could have gone to Parramatta to get his homophobic content, or perhaps this, in 2011, in pdf format, which featured, along with Van Nguyen getting his first gig as bishop, this standard bit of gay rights bashing and sinister muttering ...

Never mind, the pond did appreciate the Bolter's insistence that the reptiles of Oz should be shut down ...

Indeed, and what about all the reptiles who in recent months have blathered on endlessly about the gay agenda and Safe Schools. "Be tough on all homophobes?"

Is it time to shut down reptiles who incite?

Oh it didn't quite say "shut down reptiles who incite", did it, but the reptiles were on a roll, because we're all Spartacus now, preferably with nicely shaved chest and a good wax job ...

Deep in that story - there's a lot more bigotry and homophobia, too tedious to recirculate - came this poignant little note ...

Never mind, the pond deeply appreciates the offer by the reptiles never again to bang on about the gay agenda, or the homosexual agenda, like a dunny door in an eastern front ... or an angry Sydney Anglican or a priest married to God in a way that prevents them from having an enjoyable fuck ...

Luckily these ratbags will still have others to do the job for them ...

Yes, this day Imam Cory felt the need to write to the reptiles, and the juxtaposition with that other cultural warrior Des Moore scribbling "Jihadists do not confine themselves to attacking homosexuals" brought tears of recognition of deep truth to the pond's eyes...

Because, indeed, Imam Cory, is also an astonishingly capable climate scientist. Or at least a jihadist always willing to attack climate scientists ...

But let's just admire his capacity for ongoing jihadist activities on the gay front ...

Yes, he was an even more fierce and fundamentalist jihadist than Tony Abbott, and by golly that's saying something.

And the video might have expired, but not the prejudice and the bigotry ...

It goes without saying that the fundamentalist jihadist will admit no error, and will always think that their fundamentalism reflects the correct and proper approach to the world, and the jihadist will insist that others should conform to the jihadist's right thinking, and Imam Cory conforms in every way to this sense of righteousness ...

That last one is at the Graudian here and also came from 2013.

Back then of course Malware was jockeying for position ...

In October last year, when Bernardi made the original comments, one of his most vocal critics was former Liberal party leader and current shadow minister for telecommunications and broadband, Malcolm Turnbull.
''I can only say that is the worst sort of slippery slope argument,'' he said. ''It is hysterical, alarmist, offensive and doesn't represent the mainstream view of Australians, let alone the Liberal party.''

Nor it seems the newly reformed reptiles, because we are all Spartacus now ...

In a Tuesday interview with Sky News, Turnbull said he would not be crossing the floor when the same-sex marriage bill is introduced but would be likely to support one if there was a conscience vote. “I would be quite untroubled with the state recognising same-sex couples, and giving that the term of marriage,” he said. “You know, I have to say to you that I find the argument that the institution of marriage is under attack from homosexuals wanting to live together as quite ridiculous.”

Now we can have a plebiscite where the Catholics, the Anglicans, the Islamics and the jihadist imam Cory Bernardi can all get together to berate the gays and their homosexual agenda ...

Well, if anyone sees a reptile in the lizard Oz from this day forth bemoaning the gay agenda, the pond would dearly love to know ...

Promoting them to jihadist imam status would remind them that this day it was resolved that the reptiles had foresworn the term ... we have to be tough on all homophobes, we must shut down the reptiles who incite ...

We are all Spartacus now ... or perhaps Larry ... hmm, perhaps the pond should pick up a few oysters from the fish market tomorrow ...

  1. "I stand on the record and say, well I was right," said Senator Bernardi

Bernardi is a hapless ass. Even when he thinks he's right, he's wrong.

    1. Except for the money, the hairpiece and the wives he's our very own fledgling Trump ...

He's got the verbalisms and the vocabulary mastered already. But is he a true solipsist, or just, in the approved vernacular, a penny-farthing narcissist on the prowl for unstinted adoration ?

  2. "We have no plans to change penalty rates at all," spoken with lawyerly delight and precision. Who is "we"? What are "plans"?
I'll believe Turnbull is worth his weight in tweets when he shirt-fronts any one of his hate-mongering backers.

  3. The Freedom brigade are pretty keen on "shutting down" people they don't agree with at the moment - what changed?
