In which the pond dons black, because it's coal, coal, coal for the woorrrrllld ...

The pond is delighted to report that Gary Johns has paused from his arduous never-ending work of bashing the blacks ... to spend some quality time bashing the greenies and the ABC ... thanks be unto the reptiles of the lizard Oz ...

Yes, the filthy perverted wicked ABC greenie alliance is the ruination of all ... and it's coal, coal, coal for Australia, and the woooorrrrldd ... preferably in a shade of deep black, though if all you can afford is brown, please feel free to wear the sort of brown still fashionable in Victorian coal mines ...

Whatever, we need any other shade than green, or perhaps pink, or blue (too much sky), or white (too cloudy) ...

We need some yellow fog rubbing its back upon the window-panes, yellow smoke, and a nice touch of black soot falling from chimneys and curling about houses ...

Indeed, indeed. The pond at this moment was suddenly filled with a desire to run a snap of the Carmichael River ...

Not a lily pad in sight, and talk about woefully ugly and in urgent need of a coal mine ...

Why look what coal mining has done for the visual beauty of the Hunter Valley, turning it into one of the visual wonders of the world ...

Well there's more about the Galilee Basin environment here, but please don't click, or you're certain to fall victim to a well known greenie trick ...

Instead let's just admire the magnificent Hunter Valley ...

No doubt you know a splendid coal mine in your vicinity which will gladden the heart of Gary Johns ...

As for the world and climate science?

Please, we know, thanks to the many science writers employed by the reptiles of Oz, that it's all nonsense and hogwash ... and besides, some coal is better than other coal, which means it should be coal, coal, coal for the wooorrrrlllddd ...

Whatever "official" opinion might mean, though perhaps all it really means is someone that agrees with Gary Johns ...

Or perhaps the ABC could be sold to Chairman Rupert, and then a monoculture of tedious right wing ratbaggery would be complete ... and that way no one would ask any difficult questions whatsoever about a dubious project ...

  1. Why are the mejaa so obsessed with Jarred Hayne playing grid iron in the US? No one watches it here, and no one gives a toss, but its makes the front pages every week. Vested interests or just slick PR?
