While thinking on the question of David Penberthy and his willingness to become a hang man, I stumbled across this First Dog on the Moon cartoon about Miranda the Devine's desire to hang a greenie from a lamp post.
Thus far, of course, the vigilantes following Penberthy's preferred course of action have settled for a petrol bomb and a pine coffin, but hey, rope's easy to find in any convenient hardware store.
What is it with commentariat columnists and their desire to fashion a noose? Feel free to mentally insert "David Penberthy" whenever Miranda the Devine is mentioned in the cartoon below:
